Two mediation cases in which we assisted representatives of state, federal, regional, and county agencies, community associations, utility districts, environmental and real estate interests. Resulted in new rule making, and other actions that avoided a multitude of costly court cases.

SouthShore Area, Hillsborough County
We facilitated a large multi-community effort in planning for environmental, cultural resource and transportation systems that allowed for common interests to be protected, boundary clashes to be avoided, and community plans to be developed in an agreed upon sequence.

St. Stephen’s Episcopal School, Bradenton, Fl
A leading educational center’s faculty develops a long range vision and plans for curriculum and programs within a creative atmosphere with multiple breakouts. Participants focused on every priority area, and reached consensus.

City of Cape Coral, FL
Elected leaders and staff examine past and present conditions, and generate a vision and strategic priorities. Staff author over 60 specific strategies to implement council’s priorities as part of a new strategic planning approach.

Three Cities in Hillsborough County, FL
A cross-section of citizens in Tampa, Temple Terrace and Plant City join in study circles to converse and role play on the community values that should guide planning policies. The results are incorporated into their Comprehensive Plans as part of a major update process.

City of Largo, Florida
Groups of citizens tackle community values, connectivity and design in workshops and charrettes to influence their Comprehensive Plan. Participants spend budgets; build ©Lego models, and plot links and obstacles to arrive at important priorities and conclusions.

University of Central Florida, Orlando
Teams of nationally-recognized architects and landscape architects develop a concept for a new medical school. The intensive charrette builds on leadership vision and integrates the facility into a master planned community with walk-to-work livability.

First Step of Sarasota, Inc.
Administrators, board and staff collaborate on a new strategic plan to guide the organization’s future growth and approach to alcohol and drug abuse programs. A retreat kicks off the effort, and workshops produce a formal plan that is ratified by the Board of Directors.
